This month’s fashion story in Baltimore Magazine, ’8 New Rules of Fashion’, features a few pieces from Shine Collective. The spread is gorgeous.

We’ve recently joined forces with our neighbors to promote the fashion end of shopping on the Avenue in Hampden. The “4 Blocks of Fashion‘ campaign with Shine, doubledutch boutique, Form and Ma Petite Shoe begins Wednesday in City Paper, and you’ll see more of our joint efforts on gorgeous postcards around the city and in future promotions. Folks need to know- the goods we’re bringing to our little Baltimore hood are the same goodies found at Barney’s, Jeffrey, Scoop, Fred Segal and the rest. So, shop local!

This fun, Swedish line’s follow up to the fabulous collection featured at Shine Collective this past Fall will not disappoint. Just featured in Allure magazine, this blue skirt is hot for the season. Well made and gorgeous, House of Dagmar‘s mix is filled with the just-right, sophisticated/edgy (and necessary) additions to your Spring wardrobe.

A few Hampden shops were just featured in the Baltimore/DC section of February Lucky! Six great reasons to come shop the neighborhood.

Baltimore Magazine‘s annual Best of Baltimore issue just dropped and Shine not only received a handsome write up and award for our accessories, but a full page photo of some pieces- including Pretty Young Thing, Sid Vintage and Draugsvold perched on Fringe trays and dishes. The write up reads:

Gutter Magazine that is! Photographer and all around good guy Joe Giordano approached us with this idea of wanting to do 80′s style studio portraits using Shine clothes and jewelry. We love the result- “Say Cheese” is fun, the photos are amazing and who doesn’t love a little glitter and braided headbands?
